A small, independent high school in Lehi for capable but disengaged teens — where personalized AI-guided learning meets real human coaching, mentorship, career pathways, and time outside.
Like CMYK inks, the pieces combine into something no single one could be.
Bright kids get lost in classrooms built for the average. School refusal, lost confidence, boredom, a bad early experience — they're not struggling because they can't. They're checked out because nothing asks the best of them, and no one path fits every color.
high schoolers say they feel disengaged or "just going through the motions."
faster mastery is possible with one-on-one, adaptive instruction versus a lecture pace.
of the jobs today's teens will hold reward skills and pathways school rarely teaches.
We kept the parts of high school that change a life and rebuilt the rest — four elements that layer together like process inks into a full-color education.
Best-in-class AI tutors deliver core academics one-on-one, adapting to each student's pace and gaps — including fast credit recovery and an accelerated path for those ready to move. Master more in two focused hours than a whole day of lectures.
Communication, critical thinking, collaboration, self-management, and character. These aren't extracurricular here — they're core curriculum, practiced daily in real projects and discussion.
Every student has a dedicated coach who knows them and holds a high bar — plus a real career direction. CTE pathways connect learning to skilled trades, tech, design, and business through hands-on work.
The Wasatch is our second campus. Weekly expeditions, service, and hands-on challenges build resilience, teamwork, and a body that's as engaged as the mind.
Every student explores CTE pathways that turn "why does this matter?" into "I'm building something." Real skills, real credentials, real momentum toward work worth doing.
Graphic design, video, and creative tools — a natural fit for visual, creative thinkers.
Coding, AI, robotics, and hands-on fabrication — building things that actually work.
Entrepreneurship, construction, and the trades — pathways to independence and real earning.
Work-based learning and industry credentials that mean something after graduation.
AI does what software does best: infinite patience, instant feedback, a perfectly personalized path. Our people do what only people can: believe in a kid, push them, and know them.
Rigorous core instruction, on demand.
The relationship that makes it stick.
A rhythm designed to re-engage — deep focus when the mind is fresh, then hands-on human work, pathways, and time outside.
Each morning, students work through personalized coursework with their AI tutor while coaches circulate — unblocking, checking mastery, and setting the day's goals.
Midday brings live, coach-led discussion, debate, writing, and collaborative projects — where teens practice thinking out loud and working with others.
Afternoons and weekly field days move learning into the real world: CTE projects, internships, the Wasatch trails, and hands-on builds.

CMYK is the four inks — cyan, magenta, yellow, and black — that layer together to make every color you've ever seen. It's how we see our students: each one distinct, each essential, and capable of far more in combination than any single track allows. It also nods to the creative, hands-on, design-and-make spirit of our CTE pathways.
Capable teens who've become bored, disengaged, or lost in a traditional classroom — including school refusal, lost confidence from an earlier rough experience, kids who need credit recovery, kids ready to accelerate, and bright students who simply learn differently. If your student is capable but "checked out," this was built for them.
CMYK High is based in Lehi, Utah, on the Wasatch Front — with the mountains, canyons, and rivers of northern Utah serving as our outdoor campus for weekly field days and expeditions.
Career & Technical Education pathways connect academics to real careers — design and digital media, technology and making, skilled trades and business — through hands-on projects, internships, and industry credentials. They give students a reason for the work and a head start on a future.
Small by design. We keep cohorts intentionally limited so every student is truly known by their coach and mentors. Our founding class is especially small — one reason to join the waitlist early.
We're finalizing these details as we prepare to open, and accreditation and a recognized path to graduation are core priorities. Waitlist families will be the first to receive full information on tuition, the academic pathway, and enrollment.
